PainPod M is an ultra wearable device used for the relief of pain & reducing various pain symptoms using Microcurrent which is a form of TENS. Microcurrent is imperceptible so you will not feel the treatment and it will not cause the muscles to contract.

The Microcurrent treatment cycle lasts for 10 hours, while the device also has a very low intensity (level 1) booster of TENS/EMS to help provide analgesic relief more rapidly.

Medically researched and expertly engineered, the PainPod M uniquely combines three clinically proven technologies to give effective, natural drug-free relief from many types of pain.

Drug-Free Pain Relief. Backed By Science.

It sits neatly in your hand, is easy to use and relieves pain, eases aches and aids recovery for thousands of people across the world.
The PainPod blends biotechnology and physical therapy into a tiny device designed for one purpose: to help make everyday life a little easier — whether you’re struggling with a bad back or recovering from surgery.

Take Control Of Your Pain.

The Numbers Don’t Lie

Sooner or later, we all have to deal with body pain at some point. It’s an important bodily function that alerts us to times and sources of dis-ease. A recent global survey reported that 95% of us have experienced this at some time.

With that pain comes a noticeable drop in how you enjoy life. Brighter moments are dulled, and it gets harder to do even simple things. Relationships with friends and family suffer, and almost 50% of people said that pain made them feel older and less attractive.

The ‘go to’ approach in health care at the moment is to prescribe medications (opioids) of various kinds; however, these bring their own complications. What if you had a way to ease those aches without the risk of the known side effects that are often caused by “taking your meds”? What if there was something that brought relief after just a couple of short uses? With PainPod, you have that something.

Pain No Longer Needs To Be A “Part Of Life”

If you suffer from chronic pain, it’s impossible to enjoy a healthy life: common issues like stiff or sore muscles, fatigue, and period pain can take a huge toll on how you live day to day.

And while many still accept these issues as just a “part of life”, there’s a growing movement actively looking to overcome these obstacles to their health and quality of life. One of the ways they’re doing that is with PainPod.

Shortcut Your Road To Recovery

If you’ve ever faced a long recovery, whether from surgery, accident or injury, you know it can be a frustrating process… especially as you get older. It also means a lot of gruelling work to build the body back to its normal, healthy condition. One way you can “shortcut” the recovery is with PainPod.

Used regularly around the affected areas of your body, it can re-educate your muscles and improve blood circulation, as well as help restore flexibility and joint range of motion. Plus, you can use it to increase your muscle mass and reduce the risk of muscle wasting from long bed stays, giving your rehabilitation a stronger foundation to build on.

Work The Muscles, Not Just The Nerves

While it provides one of the best drug-free ways you can reduce pain, PainPod isn’t purely for pain relief. It can also deliver EMS, or Electrical Muscle Stimulation.

Both use electrical pulses, but whereas TENS targets the nerves that block pain signals to the brain, the pulses from EMS target the muscle directly, causing it to contract, and enabling it to strengthen and grow.

EMS also increases blood flow, providing a faster path for getting more restorative nutrients to affected areas, which can also speed your recovery from injury or surgery.

Yes, depending on your fund. Some require a referral. You can find more information here.

A TENS machine (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation) is designed to block pain signals from reaching the brain, helping to relieve chronic and acute pain. An EMS machine (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) sends electrical impulses to stimulate muscle contractions, supporting muscle strengthening, recovery, and rehabilitation.PainPod devices offer the benefits of both in one unit.

TENS machines may help relieve pain associated with arthritis, back pain, nerve pain, post-surgery discomfort, labour pain, and sports injuries. They're commonly used for natural pain relief and can be a drug-free alternative to medications.

Absolutely. EMS machines are frequently used by athletes and physiotherapists to improve circulation, reduce muscle soreness, and support muscle recovery after workouts or injury. They can be especially helpful for rehabilitation and strength-building during downtime.

Usage depends on your personal needs, but many users benefit from daily sessions of 20–30 minutes. PainPod devices are designed for regular use and come with adjustable intensity settings to suit your comfort and therapy goals.

Pad placement depends on the pain or treatment area - for example, place them near the source of pain (not directly on the spine or joints).

Yes, many women in Australia use TENS machines for period pain or endometriosis-related discomfort. The gentle electrical stimulation may help reduce cramping and offer relief without the need for medication. Learn more about types of pain and symptoms we treat.

All PainPod models offer dual-mode TENS/EMS support, but devices like the PainPod 3 or PainPod M are top-rated for chronic pain management, recovery, and wellness.
